                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                   PART II, SECTION 14-82(h), RELATIVE TO 
                   ISSUANCE OF PLANT ELECTRICAL LICENSES BY THE 
                   BOARD OF ELECTRICAL EXAMINERS.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  Section 14-82(h), as amended, be and the 
       same is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the first paragraph 
       and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
            Upon application, the board of electrical examiners 
            shall issue a plant electrical license to a 
            manufacturing firm or a non-profit organization as the 
            holder of the license to undertake the work of 
            maintaining, repairing, replacing, relocating, altering, 
            extending or installing electrical systems within 
            buildings occupied by the license holder as owner or 
            lessee subject to the following limitations and 
            conditions:
            
       	    	 SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall be effective two (2) 
       weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
